There are hints and shadows of Christ, the coming Redeemer and Savior, all throughout the Old Testament. All of biblical history has foreshadowed God's plan to redeem all of humanity through His Son and to purchase for Himself a Bride. This Bride could never earn His favor, but it was freely given by His love. And she is made spotless and holy by His work in her.
